The Challenge
Creating a unified design system for Israel’s government was no small feat. The goal was to develop a flexible yet structured solution that could be easily adopted by diverse, cross-functional teams across various ministries and service providers. With a vast range of digital products to support, consistency was key - both in user experience and visual language. Using Figma’s powerful tools like auto layout and responsive components, we built an agile, scalable system that simplifies the process of designing cohesive, user-centered government services.
My Piece Inside
As part of the project, I focused on designing complex components that are easy to understand, implement, and reuse—ensuring future designers can work efficiently without compromising the system’s consistency. By relying on existing styles and patterns, I created components that feel familiar and predictable, even when they include advanced functionality. This helped keep the design system both robust and approachable.
